Known for their heavy riffs, groovy beats and explosive sound, the progressive rock duo Aligns has been electrifying the New York rock scene since 2010 when Jacques Barbot formed the band. With an undeniable chemistry on stage, Barbot (guitar and vocals) and Mark Bell(drums) freely merge a variety of sounds influenced by their two very different musical backgrounds. Their music embeds genres like psychedelic rock, blues, world music, metal, hip hop, punk, gospel and jazz.
